II. Fault Symptoms & Troubleshooting Process

Fault Symptoms:

Engineer inspecting Yongchang high-pressure pump and wiring

High-pressure pump malfunction (self-lock button, power switch, and high-pressure ring damaged); data cable required reconnection.

Troubleshooting Process:

The high-pressure pump failed to start. Inspection revealed a faulty self-lock button and a short-circuited power switch. After replacing the damaged parts, the pump’s pressure stability was tested.

The data cable had poor contact. It was re-soldered and wrapped with an insulation layer.

III. Repair Plan & Implementation

Replaced / Repaired Components & Implementation Details:

Replaced the high-pressure pump self-lock button, power switch, high-pressure ring, data cable, and the aged data cable between the high-pressure pump and CNC control cabinet.

Replaced damaged electrical components, re-soldered data cables, tested signal transmission stability, and fully replaced aged cables to ensure interference-free operation.

Tools & Spare Parts:

Used customer-provided spare parts (such as cables and screws) and personal toolkits (such as multimeters and torque wrenches).

Repair Duration:

The entire project was planned for 2 days but was completed 1 day ahead of schedule due to efficient spare parts coordination.

IV. Maintenance Effect Verification

Full Machine Testing:

Continuous operation for 3 hours with cutting pressure stability (error within ±1MPa). Platform movement was smooth without any sticking.

Customer Acceptance:

On-site cutting test of 6mm stainless steel sample; cutting edges were smooth and ripple-free, meeting production requirements. The customer signed the acceptance form.
