I. Basic Information
Service Location: On-site at the customer’s facility in the PhilippinesService Type: Equipment maintenance
Equipment Model: SAME Waterjet Equipment
II. Fault Symptoms & Troubleshooting Process

Fault Symptoms:
Y2 axis driver damaged; platform wiring required re-tuning.
Troubleshooting Process:
Inspected the CNC control cabinet wiring and confirmed that the Y2 axis driver was malfunctioning. After disassembly, internal components were found to be burnt.

Tested platform movement functions, found that valves operated normally but wiring contacts were loose. Rewired and reinforced the connections to ensure proper contact.

III. Repair Plan & Implementation
Replaced / Repaired Components & Implementation Details:
Replaced the Y2 axis driver, platform wiring, and valve connections. After replacing the driver, recalibrated platform movement and reinforced wiring terminals to prevent loosening.
Tools & Spare Parts:
Used customer-provided spare parts (such as some cables and screws) and personal toolkits (such as multimeters and torque wrenches). Key components (such as the driver) were supplied by the customer.
Repair Duration:
The entire project was planned for 2 days but was completed 1 day ahead of schedule due to precise fault location.
IV. Maintenance Effect Verification
Full Machine Testing:
Continuous operation for 3 hours with cutting pressure stability (error within ±1MPa). Platform movement was smooth without any sticking.
Customer Acceptance:
On-site cutting test of 6mm stainless steel sample; cutting edges were smooth and ripple-free, meeting production requirements. Customer signed the acceptance form.
V. Customer Feedback
Customer’s Comment: “Thanks to the engineering team for their efficient maintenance! From fault diagnosis to full recovery, it only took 1 day—well beyond our expectations. Especially the precision tuning of the equipment, which perfectly meets our production requirements. Looking forward to continued cooperation in the future!”
